Call Scotland provides excellent, comprehensive, well-researched and clear advice to help children and young people overcome disability and barriers to learning. Their website is: www.callscotland.org.uk

Skills Rocket was developed by a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. It provides tutorials, support and helpful tips for adults with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia. Their website is www.skillsrocket.com

My Learning Toolkit is a learning toolbar that can provide quick access to frequently used tools. For example, you might often want to customise text size or colour, or be able to link to on-line encyclopaedias. It can be downloaded from Assist IT, which is involved in training for assistive technologies. Their website is: www.assist-it.org.uk

Doorway Online is a collection of free learning activities originally developed with funding from Scottish Borders Council. It covers a range of literacy and numeracy skills, and each exercise has range of accessibility and difficulty options http://doorwayonline.org.uk

BBC Skillswise provides online help with adult numeracy and literacy, for tutors and students. There are printable worksheets and factsheets and online games, videos and quizzes that can be used in class or by students at home: www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise
